Furseniors for Seniors Foster Program

Applicant Responsibilities

• Be at least 55 years old and do not have other animals.

• Be physically and cognitively capable of basic animal care, such as: meal schedules, ensuring a safe and clean environment, appropriate levels of socialization for the cat and litter box scooping.

• Be willing and able to provide a safe, clean, and loving environment.

• Be able to provide medical treatment for your fursenior as needed (administer monthly flea medicine, prescribed medications, etc.).

• Agree to keep your fursenior indoors at all times.

• Complete an application, interview, and agree to a home visit/inspection.

• Sign an agreement contract and liability waiver.

Once the application is reviewed, an interview and home inspection are made to ensure your home will be appropriate for a cat. Please understand that not all applicants will be accepted for this program.

Decisions are made based on what is best for the animal.

There are no fees involved in fostering a fursenior. In fact, Bastet Senior Cat Home helps a foster pet parent out by providing a litterbox specifically for that fursenior, litter, food, and vet bills. We will pick up the fursenior and take them to their vet appointment when needed.

Frankie is front declawed. He loves attention and to just hang out with humans. He wants to be in the middle of whatever you are doing, and will curl up for long naps. His playful manner may take some getting used to.
Miss Mia
Miss Mia needs a home where she is the queen and gets all of the attention. She loves pets, brushing, naps, her scratching pads and cat nip toys. She is a heavier cat, so please keep this in mind
Miss Socks
Miss Socks LOVES attention, brushing, pets, and just being with humans. She needs someone who can give her a LOT of attention. She is vocal, however not too loud
